Lots of love for the Beacon Centre and our Romanian friends at the Synergy Churches Conference this weekend in Derby!Thanks @synergychurches and @reachderby for this inspiring and fun filled weekend with so many friends, old and new.  

Our new temporary home for Sunday meetings is Willowbrook Primary School as we await the Beacon’s refurbishment. We’re so grateful for this wonderful provision and are loving this welcoming space – we enjoyed a great time on Sunday with a shared breakfast and a spontaneous drama scene!

On a cold, rain day Sim, our youth leader handed out very welcome hot chocolate drinks and doughnuts to young people. This was instead of our normal Hub drop in which was cancelled due to the Beacon Centre flooding. We’re working on finding a temporary home.

Beacon Update: Great news, our insurers have approved full carpet replacement! The old flooring was ripped up, removed in dumpy bags and industrial dryers are in place. We’re incredibly grateful for the speed of this progress – truly an answer to prayer.

Thank You Lord! When the Beacon Centre flooded last week we discovered how many friends Isca has! We were inundated with people clearing up and offers of places to relocate our groups.    

We’re excited! We’ve launched a prayer project called Let’s Pray encouraging church family to become Prayer Partners for our children and youth groups. We’re expectant that God will answer prayers.
