New Here?

Hello and a big welcome to our church family!

We are a church family that is welcoming to all, seeing lives transformed by Jesus. If you’re wanting to find out more, are new to Exeter, or just visiting you’re very welcome to join with us.

We have a monthly rhythm of activities including relaxed Sunday gatherings at the Beacon Centre in Beacon Lane, Beacon Heath, meeting in community groups and longer celebration Sundays at St James School.

Come and join with us, there’s always a place for you.

Warm Welcome

You’ll receive a warm welcome at any of our gatherings, activities or events.

Our Sunday gathering typically start at 10.30am and includes worship with a band, prayer and teaching from the Bible. We are open to the Holy Spirit leading us, encouraging participation and sharing our stories.

We are informal with appropriate activities for all ages including children and everyone is free to join in or not as they feel comfortable. There is opportunity for prayer, conversation and coffee towards the end of our gatherings.

We have a regular pattern of meeting at the Beacon Centre, St James School and once a month in communities – please click the What’s On calendar link below to find out what’s happening this Sunday.

Who joins in with our Isca Church family?

People of all ages and different backgrounds. We have young families, older children, middle aged and energetic older folk who still love getting stuck in serving God, including building a ceiling in our community centre!

What do our Sunday services look like?

We have welcomers at the door who can tell you what’s happening and answer any questions. After our relaxed, family-friendly service there’s a chance to chat over coffee if you’d like to.

Parking

The Beacon Centre does not have a car park but there is plenty of on-street parking nearby. If you arrive a few minutes beforehand that’ll give you time to find a seat, settle and relax ready to join in. Once a month we meet in the upper section of St James School, look out for our banners and flags. There are two large car parks.
