Being Part of God's Church in Exeter
As Isca we have always considered ourselves as part of God’s Church in Exeter. We believe the city of Exeter can be transformed for the better by knowing and hearing of God’s love for its people, so we support and participate in the work of city wide projects that promote the good news of Jesus, like ICE schools work, Street Pastors, Globe Cafe, Exeter YMCA, Exeter Foodbank and work with homeless people.
We encourage partnership and collaboration between church congregations and Christian leaders where possible. We established and run ONE for Exeter, an online community for leaders of Churches and Christian organisations in Exeter to promote specifically Christian events for the wider Christian community.
Synergy - network of churches
We are part of Synergy, a national network for supporting independent churches with numerous international links and connections. We have four regional churches in the South West joining together to further the purposes of God. Along with Isca Church here in Exeter we have Alive Church in Bridgwater, Hatherleigh Community Church in West Devon and Community Church Exmouth. Through connecting as churches and leaders we find mutual strength and encouragement as well as challenging one another in a context of love and care.
