Spree 2026!

We took 48 children and young people to Spree 2026 at Westpoint and had an awesome weekend. We are so thankful for the fantastic weekend our children and youth had at Spree SW. This year’s theme, “God’s Unstoppable Love,” reminded them that nothing can separate us from God’s love. It was a weekend full of worship, bible teaching, fun activities, plenty of snacks and time spent with children and youth from over 100 churches from across the South West. We are grateful for the opportunities they had to grow in their faith, build friendships, and encourage one another.

God’s Amazing Gift of Friendship

If you were in trouble who would you call at 2am? Inspirational Paul Boult asked us this question during today’s weekly staff devotion, and it really got us thinking. He reminded us of God’s amazing gift of friendship. Thanks, Paul, for inspiring us! How could you put this into action this week? Send a message, make a call, invite someone for coffee, or check in on someone who might need a friend. Here’s one of our discipleship groups taking time out to enjoy each other’s company during a country stroll.

A First Visit to Lee Abbey Devon

Jan recently visited Lee Abbey, home to a vibrant international Christian community, hosting retreats, conferences, and holidays on the north Devon coast. “I’d heard good things about Lee Abbey and I went with a group of friends,” says Jan. “I found it a very welcoming place, in a beautiful location, and the food was really good. I felt very relaxed there. The meetings were Jesus-centred. The worship drew me into a closer awareness of God and of Jesus’ love for me. The teaching was gentle, but it made me think.” One of the highlights of the visit was a trip to the farm, as the centre sits within a working estate. “I even got to hold a lamb – that was very enjoyable!”
