Isca Team Assemble! This fun graphic of our staff team as Marvel superheroes greeted us as we returned from the summer break. It was made by our youth leader Sim. We had lots of fun working out who was who – a great way to start a new term.

Love Beacon Heath We love sharing life in Beacon Heath!😍 Thanks Ebbie for recognising all the beautiful, hard working people who make the Heath such a great place to live, work and raise a family.🥰
Isca Church Support Beacon Family Fun Day Our church members joined in with NatWest volunteers and other Beacon volunteers to provide a hot lunch, fun, activities and games at the Beacon Family Fun Day. These days help local families during the long summer holidays.

Rich and some of our young people had a terrific time with @satellitesevent over the past few days. Inspirational stories and teaching, great community and wonderful worship. @shane.claiborne encouraged the young people to live as if Jesus meant what he said with love and care for the marginalised.

Cushion Queens We’re so grateful to Mary and Nelli for making these fun cushions. Our Sunday gatherings at the Beacon Centre, just got a lot more stylish and comfy.

We believe in the power of prayer!Today we prayed for church family and looked at the prayer chain we made during Sunday’s gathering.During our weekly staff team times we think about who needs prayer in our church family and write their names on pieces of card which we keep in our prayer pot.Let’s keep praying folks!

On Sunday we were reminded about the mustard seed parable revealing that God can grow great things from small seeds. We had fun decorating our own mustard tree with birds and insects.

A total of 45 children came along to our end of term Launch Pad party which was very loud! We’re sad to lose our Year 6 children who are moving onto secondary school – hoping we’ll see them at our Isca Youth activities. Launch Pad is back in September.

Tadpoles celebrated the end of the academic year with an indoor teddy bear’s picnic – it started to rain as we took this photo! We’re very grateful to everyone who helps with this group providing friendship and support to local families. See you in September.
