Looking for somewhere to go with your baby or toddler?Come along to our friendly group, Tadpoles, term time, Thursdays, 9.15am -11.15am at the Beacon Centre.We usually do a craft activity, have a snack time, and enjoy singing each week, as well as a variety of toys and activities to entertain.We love to welcome new people and our aim is to support and encourage each other – no cliques or perfect parents here!
We said goodbye and prayed yesterday for Peter, who’s starting university and Emily who’s returning. They are pictured with youth leader Sim. Peter and Emily have contributed significantly to the life of Isca Church and we’re going to miss them!
Phase one of installing flood defences at the Beacon is now complete! We’re so grateful – we meet in this special place every Sunday and we were devastated when the centre was flooded during January’s big storm.Thanks to everyone who’s worked hard to make this happen.
Our weekly girls’ Bible study group was a huge hit! The girls enjoyed sharing deep conversations, exploring God’s Word in their own way, connecting with leaders and enjoying time away from the adults.It was a wonderful space to grow in faith, friendship, and confidence.
Breakfast, banter and friendship!When Paul Boult, a very active member of our church, semi-retired, he wanted to catch up with a few mates. Now a group of men meet every month for breakfast, conversation and plenty of laughs. If everyone came along, there’d be around 18 of them! A great space to chat, connect and simply chill together. Every month, we print the Exeter Foodbank’s Priority Items List.But what does it look like in reality?Isca Church went shopping with Foodbank boss Mark, filling two trolleys with priority items and essentials they’re running low on, including items like jamand custard.We delivered the shopping to Foodbank HQ and met Mark’s team who work very hard helping hungry people in our city.

Who won the Battle of Pinhoe?Paul Boult brought history to life with the story of the Vikings versus the Saxons in 1001 AD. It was a captivating tale for a captivated audience at this morning’s Tea & Memories, run by Isca Church and hosted at the Cumberland Grange Join us every month for good company, good cake and a lovely stroll down Memory Lane! All very welcome.
We took 48 children and young people to Spree 2026 at Westpoint and had an awesome weekend. We are so thankful for the fantastic weekend our children and youth had at Spree SW. This year’s theme, “God’s Unstoppable Love,” reminded them that nothing can separate us from God’s love. It was a weekend full of worship, bible teaching, fun activities, plenty of snacks and time spent with children and youth from over 100 churches from across the South West. We are grateful for the opportunities they had to grow in their faith, build friendships, and encourage one another.
