Meet Jane

Jane has started as the new co-ordinator of Hope at Home.  She’s based at the Beacon Centre and is pictured here with centre manager Kate. This is an exciting new chapter in the life of this vital charity run by Isca Community Enterprises.

Supporting Exeter Foodbank

Here at Isca we’ve keen to support our city foodbank. Our comms leader, Liz Straw, pictured right, has become an Isca Church ambassador for Exeter Foodbank after visiting the St Thomas premises with other church leaders. Liz said: “It was good to meet some of the team and to hear stories of God’s provision of food and how people’s lives are being transformed,” said Liz. “It’s interesting to learn that the Beacon Centre has the most visits from families. This is very much part of our vision here at Isca, to support local families.

Synergy Conference 2025

Loving spending time with our good friends from Hatherleigh, Exmouth and North Devon. We were taking time out from the Synergy Conference 2025 held in Derby – Synergy is a family of churches across the UK. This annual conference is an important milestone in our calendar, a great way to learn, be inspired and enjoy big worship. This year’s theme was Jesus is Lord!

Happy 3rd Birthday to The Hub!

We had a great time celebrating three years of running this youth group which meets weekly (term time) at the Beacon Centre. Big thanks to our fab volunteers who make this happen.

Launch Pad Christmas Party

We were delighted to welcome families along to our Christmas party with lots of younger siblings excited at the prospect of joining us when they reach Year 1! Great team games and party food!

Festive Fun at Tea & Memories

Lots of fun and laughter at Tea & Memories Christmas Party. Here’s Mother Claus with her elf and other helpers.

We had an amazing time making Christingles and celebrating Christ as the Light of the World.

Church Leaders Christmas Fun

A lovely Christmas get together for the Synergy network of church leaders from Isca, Exmouth and Hatherleigh. We were also delighted to welcome Synergy leaders Aled Griffith and Simon Shaw.
