Jan recently visited Lee Abbey, home to a vibrant
international Christian community, hosting retreats, conferences, and holidays
on the north Devon coast.
“I’d heard good things about Lee Abbey and I went with
a group of friends,” says Jan. “I found it a very welcoming place, in
a beautiful location, and the food was really good. I felt very relaxed there. The
meetings were Jesus-centred. The worship drew me into a closer awareness of God
and of Jesus’ love for me. The teaching was gentle, but it made me think.”
One of the highlights of the visit was a trip to the farm, as the centre sits within a working estate. “I even got to hold a lamb – that was very enjoyable!”
